“My husband and I wanted to let you know how happy Ben, and we, were with his Night Eagle experience this year. My feeling of the camp on Goodbye day was a sense of peace: the boys and staff were at ease with each other, all feelings that could be expressed had done so, adventures ready to be continued but with new skills and confidence. Seeing boys reading, playing, talking without pretense or formality was great. Ben felt validated for who he is, and the Two Moons identity suits him so well!  You are lucky to be immersed with him and the other boys in this way -- and what you must learn and laugh about...!  

“Our thanks to Sun Spirit for watching over Ben during his two weeks, for guiding, listening, sharing, and having fun with him and the boys. It sounded like a special time in their teepee. The evening games must have been fun, too -- thank you for allowing the boys to compete cooperatively, together in this way.Fortunately, Ben's day camp counselor this week is Earth Spirit (fancy that!) who shared with me some thoughts about how to balance Night Eagle ways with the rest of the world, i.e. school.  Being faithful to the memories and values of Night Eagle may be a challenge -- I think Ben has done well so far, but any tips you can share would be appreciated.”
